Hello and welcome,
If you have found your way here, chances are good that we have already met through one of my stories. If so, thank you for taking the journey with me. If you are just discovering these literary worlds, then I am glad that you stopped by.
I have always believed that the best stories do more than simply entertain. They invite us into new worlds, introduce us to unforgettable people, and remind us that courage, kindness, hope, love, and family are worth holding on to.
The stories that you will find here are written with that spirit in mind. This website is a companion to those stories--a place where readers can explore artwork, maps, galleries, family trees, and the many details which live just beyond the pages of my novels.
Double-Edged Sword is my debut novel, though I have been writing for many years. There will be more to come.

A note to my readers,
When I sat down to write this first story, I asked myself what challenges an immortal people would face. I also chose to distance the Nightborne from many of the familiar vampire stereotypes found throughout the genre of fiction. Some attributes I adhered to. Others I did not. As I became more involved in telling the story, Caspian and his family guided me through their unique folklore. It sounds rather silly and fantastical, but it is very true. I hope that you enjoyed the differences and understand why they exist.

In between writing my adult fantasy-romance novels, I am working on a series of children's books inspired by my great-granddaughter, Soleil. The Sugarland Tales takes young readers into a magical world where dreams may come true in unexpected ways, differences are celebrated, and everyone has an important place. The first book in the series, Lollipop Drop's Flight will be available through Amazon on August 15, 2026. Target age is 3-6 years, but kids of all ages can enjoy the stories.

Currently, Double-Edged Sword is in pre-publishing with plans to release via Amazon on September 1, 2026. It is the first novel in The Nightborne Chronicles series of books.
Publication update:
Paperback edition: Scheduled for release on September 1, 2026.
Hardcover edition: Due to production schedules, hardcover copies may become available as late as September 16, 2026.
In addition, The Sugarland Tales' first story, Lollipop Drop's Flight, will be available from Amazon on August 15, 2026.
